Venue Hire
Allwood Neighbourhood House is in the heart of Hurstbridge with cafes and shops a short stroll away. Set amongst historical gardens, all rooms have beautiful large windows with views of the garden.
We have large and small meetings rooms with competitive rates for both businesses, community groups/not-for-profits and private functions. All of our rooms have use of our Wi-Fi, kitchen facilities and accessible, gender-neutral bathrooms.
Access to parking and our main entrance is via Arthurs Creek Rd. We are a short walk from Hurstbridge Train Station and all entries are wheelchair accessible via ramps.
Library
Smaller sized room perfect for one-on-one consultations and smaller meetings.
This space also houses our collection of sustainability, cultural, and well-being based
books.
Small Meeting Room
This room is suitable for groups of 10-12 for seated discussion or presentation.
Also perfect for therapy based bookings such as massage and reiki
Artspace
A unique and character filled space perfect for arts, crafts and messy activities. Serviced by portable heaters, this concrete floored space fits 25 for seated presentations or 12-15 for craft workshops and hands-on activities. This space can be accessed via roller door and does not currently have Wi-Fi
Large Meeting Room
With a large capacity this room is perfect for larger gatherings of all kinds.
Serviced by heating and cooling the large meeting room has capacity of 30 for seated presentations or 15 for around the table meetings

Birthday Parties & Family Celebrations
(Fixed rate starting @ $150)
Hold events, celebrate milestones and host family get-togethers with ease. Performance space, on-site catering supplies, decorations and access to our preferred suppliers & entertainers. Flexible package options available depending on booking requirements.
