Helen Bateman is a volunteer at Allwood Neighbourhood House. She first started with Vicki the manager in 2018 and had been encouraged to get involved and meet more local community members. Due to Helen’s background in horticulture, she loved mapping the Allwood House gardens for historical purposes. Helen continues to work inside the House on Thursdays, supporting all manner of activities and events on a regular basis with a beautiful positive manner and smile.

Hurstbridge resident for 25 years. Have worked with Dept of Human Services and retired now. Have three adult daughters and in a long term relationship.

Sarah Bedggood has been teaching her beloved yoga classes at Allwood Neighbourhood House for almost 20 years. She is also a registered civil and marriage celebrant, disability support worker and gardener and has a background in science – as a botanical consultant for nearly 30 years.
