Start a Group or Run a Class

Here at Allwood we are proud that our program, groups, and classes are community led and delivered. We are always interested to hear about new ideas for social groups, one-off workshops or activities, or events. We work with the knowledge that individuals have a variety of skills and abilities, and that by sharing these strengths we are able to contribute to a well-connected and resilient community.

Call Out for Community Artists

Allwood Neighbourhood House has a long history of engaging with and supporting local artists and craftspeople. We encourage artists to exhibit their works in our community spaces, giving creatives an opportunity to display and sell artworks and have meaningful interactions with the wider community. Artists and crafts people will be able to use the space for art exhibitions for 4 to 6 weeks approximately at a community commission rate. Come and look at the space and discuss the possibilities with our friendly staff. If you would like more information about the space, please contact us.
