Booklist

As well as having a physical library, our booklist can be found on the Allwood House website.

www.allwoodhouse.org.au, the link to the catalogue is on the home page. QR code also available.

Borrowing Books

To borrow books from the, become a registered member.

Each member will receive a borrower’s card with a membership number.

Members can borrow 2 books per month.

Books can be returned to Allwood House during office hours or to the Library on Open Days

 Membership details

There is no membership fee, however gold coin donations to the Library are appreciated.

(All proceeds support the Library operations)

Membership cards must be shown when borrowing books.

Overdue books

We ask that members remember to return books within the monthly timeline.

If delay is unavoidable please contact us and let us know the details – 9718 2717 or via website.

A small fee of $2 per book, per week, will be levied on overdue books.

 Lost or Damaged books

Please report lost or damaged books to Allwood House staff.

Book Donations

The Library welcomes donations of books on the themes of sustainability and aboriginal culture, provided that they are in a good condition.

Books can be dropped into Allwood House (Monday – Thursday 11am – 4pm)

Book Suggestions

We welcome book suggestions on our themes.

Volunteers

The Library will be staffed by volunteers, we welcome expressions of interest for involvement with Library Open Days, so we can extend the opening hours.

Library activities

We plan to have talks, literary events and arts projects in the future, members will be notified of events etc.

Library Open Days

Tuesday afternoons – 1 – 4 pm

2nd & 4th Sunday of each month from 1 – 4pm (Library not open in January)
